Trust.

Recently Nick & I have really been seeking the LORD & convicted about our trust (or lack of) in the LORD. Of all the people we should be relying on, it should be the LORD, but so often we are trusting in ourselves. It seems that each morning as I'm opening the Bible & seeking to know more about the LORD, He is constantly revealing to me how much I am not trusting Him. My question is, what am I holding onto that is still saying that I trust myself more than the LORD? What am I so quick to yield to Him? These are the questions plaguing my heart today.

"The LORD is my strength & my shield; in Him my heart trusts, & I am helped; my heart exults & with my song I give thanks to Him." - Ps. 28:7

One month...

Well folks, we've been married 1 month + a few days. Married life is h-a-r-d folks but we love it! The LORD has been working in both our hearts & changing us in so many ways lately that it's hard to see the full extent of everything.

I (Sam) am currently looking for full-time work. The job I have now is only 32hrs per week & now that I've decided not to go back to school for a while...I need work (especially with paying for Nick's school). I love my refugees but I do not love the position I am in with World Relief. If anyone knows anything about employment case managers you know what I'm talking about.

Nick is taking a full load of classes & loving Greek 3 (he's a bit of a nerd). He's also taking a guitar class! I think he really wants to be able to sing me sweet songs. ;)

I think that's all the boring stuff. I'll update later with stories & pictures. Just felt like writing at the end of this long day!
